New wheels... with air!

That's right - Christine finally has a car with air conditioning. Thought this bloody day would never come. If any of you ever hear me say I can live without a/c again, just give me a good smack.

Shaun and I traded in Raven (my 02 Kia Rio RX-V Sport) for an 06 Mitsubishi Outlander (considered one of those Cross-Over vehicles). We picked it up on Sunday from Car Canada along Hwy. 416. I am LOVING the a/c. Shaun loves the cruise control. It's a match made in heaven.

I was going to post the picture that was on the Car Canada website but they've already taken it down. So I'll take a new pic and post it asap. Shaun can't stop talking about the features... like the fact that the back seats actually recline! So you can be confident that if you are ever blessed enough to be a passenger in (new car yet to be named), you can recline and relax in style.

And, if it rains (or pours) on our camping trip this weekend, you can bet your sweet Apple Brown Betty that I'll be hauling ass into the new COV where it's nice and dry... and where the seats can take any number of various positions. For me to SLEEP in. Get your mind out of the gutter.

And, in two days, I finished the last of the Harry Potter series. Was very happy with the ending. Cried during one of the final chapters. Am sad that the series is over but think I might re-read it again for fun.

Two months to go...

The countdown is getting shorter...eeek!

Here is another dress, as we are now past July 1st. I would have posted it sooner but this was our Week Of Birthdays (4 to celebrate within 5 days) and it's been a little hectic. Anyhow, here you go - thoughts or comments?
